Asanya is operated by Urhere Solutions Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"). This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the Asanya website and web application, including Business and Partner account areas, and how you can manage your choices.
Necessary cookies support core services. Optional cookies help remember preferences or understand how Asanya is used, and are activated only with your consent. Read this policy alongside the Asanya Privacy Policy for further information about personal data, your rights and how to contact us.
2. What cookies do
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include browser storage and tracking pixels. Where they perform comparable tracking functions, the choices in this policy apply to them too.
Cookies may be set by Asanya or by a third party whose service is integrated into Asanya.
3. Cookie settings and categories
Strictly necessary
These support core functions such as security, network stability and accessibility. Subject to the legal qualification below, examples may include maintaining a secure session and remembering your cookie choices.
Only necessary cookies that qualify for the consent exception under applicable Nigerian law are treated as always active in Cookie Settings. That exception does not cover cookies that process sensitive data, financial data or information you store privately. Where separate consent is required, we seek it before activating the cookie. Disabling essential cookies through your browser may prevent core features from working.
Functionality
These remember optional choices such as language or display preferences. They remain off unless you consent. Declining them may mean you need to select your preferences again. A feature is classified as necessary only if it meets the necessary-cookie criteria above.
Performance and analytics
These help us understand navigation, feature use, page performance and errors so we can improve Asanya. They remain off unless you consent. Depending on the tool, information may include pages visited, interaction events, device or browser details and online identifiers. Analytics information may be aggregated, but it is not necessarily anonymous and may constitute personal data.
4. Partner referral tracking
If cookies or similar tools are used to remember a Partner referral and link a later sign-up or qualifying outcome to that Partner, we explain their purpose and category in Cookie Settings before use. Optional referral tracking requires your consent; its commercial importance does not make it strictly necessary.
A Partner code you submit directly, and the resulting relationship or commission record, may be processed separately as explained in the Asanya Privacy Policy. Refusing cookies does not itself erase those records.
We do not use alternative tracking tools to bypass your cookie choices.
5. Giving and changing your consent
The cookie banner lets you accept optional cookies, reject them or choose categories through Cookie Settings. Optional categories are off by default. Continuing to browse, scrolling or closing the banner does not amount to consent. You can use core Asanya services without accepting optional tracking.
You can reopen Cookie Settings to change your selections or withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal stops future consent-based use; it does not affect earlier lawful processing. We record your choices to apply them and demonstrate consent where required.
Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies and other stored site data. Deleting them may sign you out, reset preferences or cause the banner to reappear. Choices may need to be set separately on each device or browser. Browser controls supplement the choices in Cookie Settings.
6. Cookie details and duration
The details available through Cookie Settings identify each cookie or similar tool in use, its provider, purpose, category and duration. Session cookies are generally removed when the browser session ends, subject to browser settings. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiry or earlier deletion.
Cookie expiry is separate from retention of information already collected. That information is retained only as necessary for the stated purpose and applicable legal requirements, as explained in the Asanya Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy.
7. Third parties and personal data
Optional tools supplied by third parties are subject to the same consent choices when deployed through Asanya. Their providers and relevant privacy information are identified in Cookie Settings. External websites and services may use their own cookies under their own notices.
Where cookie information identifies you or can be linked to you, we handle it as personal data under applicable Nigerian data protection law. The Asanya Privacy Policy explains recipients, any international transfers and safeguards, retention, and how to exercise your rights or raise a complaint, including with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, cookies or legal requirements change. We update the date above and seek fresh consent before introducing a new optional purpose that your existing choice does not cover.
